Vintage Love

One of my favorite invitations we have ever worked on was for a couple who was having a vintage inspired winter wedding at a winery in Santa Ynez, California. I love the textures of this invitation and the use of lace and velvet. It lends such a feminine and elegant feel. Below is some of our inspirations and the finished product.

The Chic Peony

One of the most popular flowers for weddings these days is the lush peony. It's voluptuous, almost rose looking blooms make up amazing arrangements. Available May, June, October, and November, the peony is a popular choice for weddings of all styles and themes. In honor of the newest addition to our etsy shop, I thought I would highlight some of my favorite peony arrangements.

Modern Elegance

When Jammie contacted me about designing their wedding invitations, I was so excited to work with her and Aaron. As soon as Jammie sent me the inspiration for her wedding, in particular, her absolutely stunning Vera Wang dress, I knew I would be working with a couple that had impeccable taste. Jammie and Aaron were wonderful to work with, and I am so excited to be able to share their wedding with you today. Coordinated by the wonderfully talented Aletha of Pearls Events and photographed by the equally talented Amy Carroll, this wedding is all about chic and utter style.

Color Palette: Red, Purple and White

This color palette is for one of our readers, Jennifer. She is getting married on a beach in Mauritius this December, and wanted a palette reflecting her colors of purple, red and white. I hope this color palette can help Jennifer visualize her colors and plan her perfect wedding day!

Garden Whimsy

Congrats to Jenn and Bryan who were married last weekend! For their invitation, they wanted something with an elegant garden feel for their outdoor celebration. Using embossed floral paper and rosemary tied with raffia, we created an invitation that was sure to get their guests excited about their upcoming nuptials. Jenn and Bryan were more than happy with their invitations and I wish them all the best!
